Events & Experiences in Hawke's Bay

With our Mediterranean lifestyle, you will find Hawke’s Bay has a multitude of events and experiences happening and often on the trails. Check out our Facebook page for updates.

Our must do cycling event on the trails is 'The Big Easy' - a delightful relaxing ride for friends and family (definitely not a race), with plenty of distractions along the way, finishing at a winery concert. Complementing this is the 'Little Easy' at both Central Hawke's Bay and Wairoa. So book out your Easter and come join in the fun.

The Big Easy event is held on the Hawke’s Bay Trails at Easter every year. It is the ultimate antidote to all those serious lycra-laden cycle race events.

The Big Easy ride is approximately 40km of very social cycling.

We encourage you to take all day and enjoy the many tasty Hawke’s Bay distractions along the way, ending at a fabulous winery concert.
