Welcome to Hawke's Bay Trails - one of New Zealand’s best, year-round cycling destinations. We’ve got friendly weather, friendly hospitality and easy terrain all sorted here! We’re set up for social riders, keen riders, families and people who have just recently started biking.
We are one of twenty three 'Great Rides' of the Ngā Haerenga - The New Zealand Cycle Trail. New Zealand’s Great Rides provide exciting journeys on 2,500km of trails suited to everyone from sightseeing rusty riders, to hardcore mountain bikers up for a challenge. ‘Ngā Haerenga’ means ‘the journeys’, in a physical and spiritual sense, which is exactly what you will experience on the New Zealand Cycle Trail.
